Waiting for the results

Yesterday, I took my first Wellness Test at my vet's place. It was a little bit stressful, they had to to stick my arm with a needle (Ouchie!!) to get a vial of blood for testing.

I never liked the clinic but after my big boy surgery last year, I have gotten more nervous around that place. Who knows what they will remove this time!

Were now waiting for the results, hoping I pass with flying colors.

UPDATE:
My results came back. My vet says it was very good. My liver and all other organs are ok and I was negative for heart worms.

I've been away much too long!

As I await the world's slowest house construction, my mom informed me of a very good news. She told me there is a surprise waiting for me when I come back home - three little surprises, in fact. Yes, my friends I am now an Uncle!!!!

My cousin and friend, Myra, gave birth to three puppies!!! Can you believe it?! Mom reported that Myra is a very good mommy and always looking after her babies. She is always there to feed them and clean after them. She didn't need anyone to teach her that despite being a first time mommy. These are their pictures:

They don't look anything like a Japanese Spitz so they must take after their dad, who is a Llasa Apso named Hugh. Too bad, a Japanese Spitz puppy is one of the cutest thing in the world. I should know hehehehe Nonetheless, these pups do look pretty cute!

This is my mommy's favorite puppy, a girl puppy with two black patches on her eyes. She is also the biggest of the three. I can't wait to meet them!

Birthday Boy

I'm three years old today! Lola prepared roast chicken and mama bought cake and ice cream for everyone. I ate A LOT of chicken and got a little ice cream treat too! Everyone was kissing me and greeting me a happy birthday. It was a very special day, after all, how often does one turn three years old.

Mama also bought me this stuffed teddy bear to replace the one we had to throw out because it received too much love from me.

When everyone else went to bed, mommy and I were still downstairs. I was busy grooming my bear when I saw Mama tearing up so I went to her and sniffed her face.

She gave me a tight hug and told me how happy I made her for the past three years. But, as I celebrate my birthday, she is reminded how short a dog's life really is and that makes her really really sad. She said while we may spend a few wonderful years together, life without me is too hard to imagine.

I let her hug me for a very long time until her fears went away. Then, I got my bear gave it to her, stayed beside her and that made her feel better.

Dog lady

Hullo everyone! Its been a long time since I wrote something here. Forgive me friends if I had not been religiously visiting your blogs, my world's a little bit tupsy turvy. Just a few more weeks for finishing and cabinets before we can move back in.

My mom's barkday was last week and one of her friends got her this book :

Its a wonderful book that relays the amazing qualities of dogs. We read it together when she visited me. I loved looking at the pictures. My mom had cats before so she knows their good qualities too. But, she says she will always be a dog person. Which reminds me, the 26th is a special date, can you guess why?

My mom came by yesterday with quite a number of stuff for me. But, my favorite is a new brush because I absolutely love being groomed. When I saw it, I immediately sat beside her and waited patiently for her to brush my fur. I like being brushed because it feels nice and I look really handsome afterwards.

Before she left, she whispered something to me - she said we are moving back very soon. Maybe even in time for my Barkday. Im so excited to see the new house. She said that there will be a bigger place for me to play so I can invite Myra often and we can run around. I can't wait!
